MEN'S CLUB MEETING, SUNDAY, MARCH 7, AFTER 9 AM MINYAN The newly revitalized Men’s Club will hold it’s second meeting. Come and share some time with the men of Temple Beth Ahm as we take nominations for officers, decide on our next events and discuss ideas on how the Men’s Club can serve the Temple. All male Temple members over the age of 25 are invited to join the Men’s Club.

SCHOLAR IN RESIDENCE, SHABBAT, MARCH 12-13 Temple Beth Ahm is proud to present our 2010 Scholar In Residence! David Wachtel: Chief Researcher of the Rare Books Collection at the Jewish Theological Seminary! David will be with us for three talks over the course of Shabbat. He will discuss different types of documents, including Haggadot and Ketubot, and their historical significance. Lunch will be served on the 13th. Please join us for an amazing weekend!

SCHOLARSHIPS Various scholarships/monies are available through the Rabbi Port and Deborah Port Fund, Arthur and Helen Herman Education Fund, and the Harry Poppick Summer Youth Activity Fund for individual children for Jewish experiences – camp or travel – pre K through High School. If you want to find out more about whether you qualify – fill out an application “Fund Recommendation Request Form” available in the Temple Office. Please submit the Request Form by March 15th for all summer activities.

JTS is now offering an original video podcast series, 120 Minutes With JTS, which gives you the chance for in-depth Jewish study with faculty and experts who bring passion and deep insight to their subjects. Each 120-minute series consists of twenty-minute sessions exploring a particular Jewish topic in depth—all of them will inform and inspire you. The first topic is 120 Minutes of Jewish Medieval History, presented by Dr. Benjamin Gampel, Dina and Eli Field Family Chair in Jewish History.
