Joseph Telushkin has made Judaism accessible and through this work it is readily available in your home. It should be part of every home's library.

Published originally in a beautifully gold leaf hardcover, this edition of the Bible makes a wonderful coffee table book. But as pleasing to the eye as it is, its contents surpass its ascetic value. This translation, based on the Buber/Rozensweig into German is fantastic in its ability to maintain the Hebrew text's rhythm and meter. You get the poetic sense of the original while the understand the text itself. Certainly an added addition to any home and a terrific reference for the serious student.

describes feelings and emotions that are germane to every one's struggle with finding more religion in their lives. This is something in this book to
which every person can relate. It is a quick read and certainly worth it.
