Executive Board
The President's job is to organize board
meetings with the advisor, help all the other positions get things done, and be
a great leader.
The President is Aviva Kain. Aviva is a senior
at Matawan Regional High School!

The Israel Awareness V.P.'s job is to keep track of
Israel's current events and the United States' relations with Israel. This
person is in charge of letting the chapter know of the dangers and peacetimes
going on in Israel.

The Rel/Ed V.P.'s job is to teach USYers about the Jewish
religion and heritage. This person learns all that he/she can about the
holidays to try to teach a little about each one.

The SA/TO V.P.'s job is fundraising and community
service. Tikkun Olam is the organization that all of USY donates to.
The more money we donate, the more recognition we get in the town, the region,
and in ourselves. Social Actions is taking action. Getting involved
in the community is important. Organizing community service events is the
job of this person.
The SA/TO V.P. is unknown! Elections will be during
opening BBQ! Contact Randi for more information!
The Mem/Prog V.P.'s job is to organize chapter and
regional events. This person and the advisor are supposed to come up with
new ideas for chapter events, and even help to make them regional. This
person is also supposed to make older events work and stay fresh.
The Mem/Prog V.P. is Alecia Krampel. Alecia is a
sophomore at Matawan Regional High School!

The Communication V.P.'s job is to keep in touch with the
chapter. This person has to send out emails, send out flyers, make phone
calls, etc. to keep all chapter members advised of the upcoming chapter and
regional events.

The job of the Freshman Representative (an
appointed position) is to be
around. This person's job is to get the freshmen active in the
chapter. This person can put his/her ideas into board meetings and learn
the positions of the board so he/she can someday get on the board. This
USYer, if necessary in a chapter, gets appointed by the board in the beginning of
the year.
The Freshman Representative is unknown! We currently
do not have a Freshman Rep! Let us know if you are interested!
The Advisor is the adult that works with each temple's
Youth Commission to make each chapter strong. The title of this position
is pretty much self-explanatory.
The Advisor is Randi Hoberman. We are excited to have her with us, as she has been with USY
as regional staff for at least six years!
