If you have ever felt ‘lost’ during synagogue prayer services (“davening”) and you want to learn “what”s, “how”s, and “why”s of various parts of the Shabbat morning service, come to our monthly Learner’s Minyan! In addition to learning the prayers themselves, you will also learn the choreography of the service. In no time, you’ll learn when and why to stand, sit, put your feet together, put your hands over your eyes, and bend your knees while davening. Learner’s Minyan will take place on the 4th Shabbat of every month in TBA’s chapel (while the main service takes place in the sanctuary). All you need to bring is your willingness to learn and any questions that you may have about topics related to Jewish prayers. People at all levels of knowledge and experience are welcome!
