Men's Club
Mission Statement and Purpose
The Men’s Club is an arm of Temple Beth Ahm. The mission of the Men’s Club is the strengthening and support of our Congregation and Jewish Heritage, the promotion and fostering of mitzvoth and learning, the education of our youth, and the furtherance of Jewish activities and identity amongst our membership, the Congregation, and the Jewish community at large.
The Men’s Club is affiliated with and a member in good standing of the Federation of Jewish Men’s Clubs.
Our annual activities include building the Sukkah, hosting the annual World Wide Wrap on Superbowl Sunday in February, celebrating Jewish Heritage Night at the Lakewood BlueClaws in May, as well as coordinating Monmouth County’s participation in the Celebrate Israel Parade in New York City in June. Our monthly General Meetings, which include a bagel breakfast, have included speakers from the Israeli Embassy, from local veterans organizations, talks by sports personalities, as well as our annual Men’s Health Seminar, featuring local health care professionals.
Any man 21 years of age or older who is a member of Temple Beth Ahm, or of another Jewish congregation, or who is Jewish and unaffiliated, is eligible for membership. In addition, each new male member of Temple Beth Ahm may receive a complimentary membership.
