Men's Club
MISSION & PURPOSE
Your Men’s Club is an active a vibrant and active arm of Temple Beth Ahm. Our mission is the strengthening and support of our Congregation and Jewish Heritage, the promotion and fostering of mitzvoth and learning, the education of our youth, and the furtherance of Jewish activities and identity amongst our membership, the Congregation, and the Jewish community at large.
Our club is affiliated with, and a member in good standing of the Federation of Jewish Men’s Clubs (FJMC). One of the main goals of the FJMC is to inspire Jewish men to become more involved in Jewish life, which our club strives to achieve through programming, and support of TBA's Jewish activities and learning.
In addition to the financial and volunteer support , we host religious, social and educational programs to bring our temple community, and our larger Jewish community together. Some of our annual activities include: Building the Sukkah, our annual l Paid Up Dinner, our annual World Wide Wrap on Superbowl Sunday in February, our annual Fall Show, and our annual Pancake Breakfast, cosponsored with our Sisterhood. We host programs focused on the Jewish men of our community. Our monthly General Meetings, include a bagel breakfast, and have included speakers from the Israeli Embassy, local veterans organizations, sports personalities, local health care professionals, and others. Please visit our News and Event Page for information on upcoming programs.
Any man 21 years of age or older who is a member of Temple Beth Ahm, or of another Jewish congregation, or who is Jewish and unaffiliated, is eligible for membership. In addition, each new male member of Temple Beth Ahm may receive a complimentary membership. We encourage all men of our congregation to join, and become involved. To join please send a check made out to "Temple Beth Ahm Men's Club" to the temple office.
